The total laboratory tests conducted within 24 hours are 5414; of these 250 of them are confirmed positive for COVID-19 and the total confirmed cases as of today are 5425. Among the confirmed cases, 158 of them are male and 92 are female and their age ranges from 3 month to 90 years old. Two hundred forty of the confirmed cases are Ethiopians and ten are foreign nationals. Among the cases, 177 of them are identified from Addis Ababa city administration, 21 are from Tigray region, 20 from Amhara region, 18 from Gambella region, 8 from Oromia region, 4 from Somali region, 1 from Dire Dawa city administration and 1 from Benishangul Gumuz region.
Among the total laboratory tests conducted, 32 (11 from health facility and 21 from community) of them were from samples collected from dead bodies six of which tested positive for COVID-19. Moreover, two people who were in treatment center have passed away. This brings the total death related to COVID-19 in our country to eighty-nine (89). We would like to pass our condolences to the families. The details of the deaths are presented below.

The laboratory samples were collected from the high-risk community members, returnees/passengers at mandatory quarantine centers, contacts of the confirmed cases, health facility visitors and suspects at isolation centers.
