The total laboratory tests conducted within 24 hours are 3,410; of these forty-six (46) of them are confirmed positive for COVID-19 and the total confirmed cases as of today are Seven-Hundred-One (701). Among the confirmed cases, 29 of them are male and 17 are female and their age ranges from 12 to 79 years. Forty-five of them Ethiopians and one person Israeli citizen. Among the cases thirteen  (13) of them are identified from Addis Ababa (four have known contact with a confirmed case, one with a travel history from abroad and eight have no known contact with confirmed cases and no travel history), three (3) from Tigray Region (with travel history from abroad and was in mandatory quarantine), fifteen (15) from Amhara region (with travel history from abroad was in mandatory quarantine), eleven (11) from Somali region (with travel history from abroad was in mandatory quarantine) and four (4) long truck drivers with travel history from abroad.

Unfortunately, A 32 years old female Ethiopian, from Addis Ababa, who was in intensive care due to other medical condition and confirmed positive for COVID-19 yesterday has passed away yesterday night bringing the total death due to COVID-19 in our country to six (6). Ministry of Health and the Ethiopian Public Health Institute would like to pass its condolences to the families.

Furthermore, eight (8) people (two from S/N/N/P/R region and six from Addis Ababa) recovered from the disease that makes the total number of recoveries one-hundred-sixty-seven (167).

The total laboratory tests conducted within 24 hours are 2844; of these seventy-three (73) of them are confirmed positive for COVID-19 and the total confirmed cases as of today are Six-Hundred-Fifty-Five (655). Among the confirmed cases, 49 of them are male and 24 are female and their age ranges from 8 to 75 years. Sixty-seven of them Ethiopians and the remaining six are from different nations. Among the cases fifty-six (56) of them are identified from Addis Ababa (thirteen have known contact with a confirmed case, twelve with a travel history from abroad and thirty-one have no known contact with confirmed cases and no travel history), four (4) from Tigray Region (all with travel history from abroad), two (2) from Amhara region (with known contact with confirmed cases), eight (8) from Somali region (with travel history from abroad) and three (3) long truck drivers with travel history from abroad.

Among the confirmed cases, 51 of them are male and 37 are female. All of them are Ethiopians and their age ranges from 8 to 75 years. Among the cases seventy-three (73) of them are identified from Addis Ababa (nineteen have contact with a confirmed case, one with a travel history from abroad and fifty-three have no contact with confirmed cases and no travel history), eight (8) from Tigray Region (all with travel history from abroad), four (4) from Oromia region (two with travel history from aboard and two with no known contact with confirmed cases and no travel history), One (1) from Hareri region (with contact with a confirmed case) and two (2) long truck drivers with travel history from abroad.

The total laboratory tests conducted within 24 hours are 3757; of these sixty-one (61) of them are confirmed positive for COVID-19 and the total confirmed cases as of today are Four-Hundred-Ninety-Four (494). Among the confirmed cases, 43 of them are male and 18 are female. All of them are Ethiopians and their age ranges from 15 to 70 years. Among the cases forty-eight (48) of them are identified from Addis Ababa (five have contact with a confirmed case and forty-three have no contact with confirmed cases and no travel history), three (3) from Afar Region (contact with confirmed cases and in Dubti Isolation Center), one (1) from Amhara region (all with travel history from abroad and in Dessie Isolation Center), seven (7) from Somali region (all with travel history from abroad and in Jigjiga Quarantine Center) and two (2) from Oromia region (with no contact with confirmed cases and no travel history and they are from Burayu and Sebeta towns).

In addition to the laboratory test announced in the regular 24 hours notification update additional 41 laboratory tests had been conducted, of which four (4) people have been confirmed positive for COVID-19 in Amhara Region and the total cases confirmed positive for COVID-19 within 24 hours are Thirty-Four (34). The total confirmed cases as of today are Four-Hundred-Thirty-Three (433). All of the confirmed cases are male Ethiopians and their age ranges from 29 to 97 years. The sources of exposure of one of the cases is a travel history while the remaining three have no travel history and their contact with a confirmed case is under investigation. The residence of two of the cases is Western Gondar and the remaining two are from Central Gondar and Gondar City.

According to the new information we have received after daily situational update was announced, among 12 laboratory tests conducted in Harari region, one (1) person is confirmed positive for COVID-19 and the total cases confirmed positive for COVID-19 within 24 hours are Ten (10). The total confirmed cases as of today are Three-Hundred-Ninety-Nine (399). The confirmed case is a 37 years old male Ethiopian who resides in Harar town. He has no contact with a confirmed cases and no travel history abroad.
